In person in Ormond Beach · Online anywhere in FloridaRoom to say all of it.And someone who’ll help you change it.
I work with adults, couples and families on anxiety, depression, relationships, grief and recovery. Nearly 30 years in this field, from foster care to substance-abuse treatment, taught me when to listen and when to push.

Meet BrandonIs this you?
Pick the one that sounds most like today.
- You’re holding it together at work and falling apart at home.
- The ways you used to cope aren’t working anymore.
- You know something has to change, and you don’t know where to start.
How we work on it
We start by getting you some breathing room. Then we build coping skills you can actually use between sessions. You get space to say all of it without judgment, and honest feedback when it will help.
- Your mind won’t slow down at night.
- Getting through the day takes everything you have.
- Things you used to enjoy feel like chores.
How we work on it
I use CBT, DBT and mindfulness to help you see what feeds the anxiety or the low mood, and to practice coping skills that hold up in real life, not just in the room.
- Small things turn into big arguments.
- Resentment has built up on both sides.
- You love each other and you’re tired of how it’s going.
How we work on it
With couples, we work on communication that gets you through conflict in a healthy way, and on letting go of the past so the relationship has room to grow. It works best when you’re both willing to do the work.
- Every conversation turns into the same argument.
- Someone’s drinking, grief or illness is running the whole house.
- You love each other and you can’t seem to say it.
How we work on it
Family sessions put everyone in the same room with someone neutral. We work on how you talk to each other, on the resentments that have built up, and on the one change that would make home easier to live in.
- It stopped being casual a while ago.
- You’ve tried cutting back on your own.
- You want to stay sober, and you want a plan for the hard days.
How we work on it
I spent years in substance-abuse treatment centers. The work here centers on relapse prevention: knowing your triggers, having a plan, and building a life that supports recovery.
- People expect you to be further along by now.
- Some days the grief comes out of nowhere.
- You’re not sure what normal looks like anymore.
How we work on it
We work through grief at your pace, using the stages of grief as a map rather than a schedule, alongside healthy ways to cope while you do.

The office is in Ormond Beach. The practice is the whole state.
Secure video sessions from Pensacola to Key West: the same 50 minutes, the same fee, the same person. For people in towns with two counselors and a waitlist, for anyone who’d rather not lose two hours to a drive, and for couples and families spread across the state who can finally be in one room.
- 1A link, a camera, a closed door. Nothing to install. You get a link before each session.
- 2Everything I work on in the office. Anxiety, depression, couples, families, grief, recovery, burnout, ADHD.
- 3One rule: be in Florida. I’m licensed here, so you need to be in the state at the time of the session. Anywhere in the state.

How it works
Three steps, and the first one is free.
A free consultation
A short phone call. You tell me what’s going on; I tell you honestly whether I’m the right person for it.
The first session
Getting comfortable, and getting the background: what brought you in, what you’ve tried, what you want to be different. At your own pace.
The ongoing work
50-minute sessions, usually weekly or every other week. We check how it’s going and adjust as we go.
Can I afford this?
It’s probably the first thing you’re wondering. So here it is.
Individual sessions are $150; couples and family sessions are $175. I’m private pay only.
- Individual
- $15050-minute session
- Couples & families
