Website privacy policy

What we don’t do

This website does not run advertising trackers, social-media pixels, or Google Analytics. We do not set cookies. Our host, Cloudflare, may set a strictly necessary security cookie to filter out bots; it isn’t used for analytics or advertising. We do not embed maps, videos, or chat widgets that report your visit to someone else. Reading about anxiety, depression or grief on this site does not tell any advertising network that you did.

What our hosting provider sees

The site is served by Cloudflare, which — like any web host — processes your IP address and the pages you request in order to deliver them and protect the site from abuse. We use only aggregate, non-identifying traffic counts from the host. Cloudflare’s own privacy policy governs its processing.

Visit counts

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see, in aggregate, how many people visit, which pages they read, which sites sent them, and how quickly pages load. Cloudflare says this tool “does not collect or use your visitors’ personal data” and that it “does not track individual end users across our customers’ Internet properties.” We see totals, not individual visitors, and we don’t combine these numbers with anything else.

Calling, texting and emailing

Ordinary text messages and email are not encrypted end to end, so please use them for scheduling and logistics rather than clinical detail.

Links to other services

Links to other sites, such as the Florida Department of Health license lookup or the federal No Surprises Act pages, take you to those organizations’ sites, which have their own privacy policies. We don’t receive information about what you do there.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
